Ecce Vineyards & Nursery mission is to provide both quality northern variety grapes to wineries in Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as to provide bare rootstock grapevines to growing operations thoughout the United States.

The general public is also welcome to purchase our stock. We supply red wine grape vines, white wine grape vines and table grape vines of northern variety grapes. Winter hardy red wine grapes, white wine grapes and table grapes will be available in 2009-2010.

With the vineyard property currently located just outside Frederic, Wisconsin Ecce Vineyards hosts 28 varieties of winter hardy grape and winter hardy grapevines. We are a licensed reseller of University of Minnesota varieties. Most of these varieties are selections of Elmer Swenson, or of the University of Minnesota, specifically bred to provide quality fruit despite the shorter growing season and severe winter temperatures found in northern climates.

We are currently planting new property located inside Minnesota and with our new focus on that operation, sales of grapes have been postponed. We are currently focused exclusively on nursery vine production with an emphasis on winter hardies wine producing varieties such as Marquette grapes, Frontenac grapes, Frontenac Gris grapes, La Cresent grapes and Marechal Foch grapes We will also be able to offer a quantity of table grapevines in fall 2010.
